Announcement of November 6, 2025 regarding the conduct of an internship (practical training) for graduates of the dentistry program conducted in English

ANNOUNCEMENT

OF NOVEMBER 6, 2025

REGARDING CONDUCTING AN INTERNSHIP (PRACTICAL TRAINING) FOR GRADUATES OF MEDICAL AND DENTISTRY PROVIDED IN ENGLISH, REFERRED TO IN ART. 15P. ITEM 1 POINT 2 OF THE ACT ON THE PROFESSIONS OF PHYSICIANS AND DENTISTS AND CERTAIN OTHER ACTS (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1287 as amended)

hereinafter referred to as the “internship”

 

Dear Graduates,

The Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze kindly informs that the next admission for an internship will be carried out according to this schedule:

9th edition of the internship (February 9, 2026 – August 13, 2026)

The admission process consists of two stages.

STAGE I

Applications should be sent electronically using the form available at:

https://sf.sum.edu.pl/application-for-an-internship-dentistry-wniosek-o-odbycie-stazu-lekarsko-dentystyczny

between December 1, 2025 and December 12, 2025.

The limit of participants of the 9th edition of the internship is 4, admission is based on the arithmetic average of the grades obtained during studies, counted to two decimal digits, and in the event that two or more candidates obtain the same average, the date of graduation – with priority given to those who completed their studies earlier.

Admission results will be sent electronically to the indicated e-mail address in the application form.

STAGE II

Persons qualified in stage I from January 7, 2026 to January 17, 2026 must submit a complete set of documents to the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze (pl. Traugutta 2, 41-800 Zabrze):

  1. a) confirmation of the conclusion of a third party liability insurance and accident insurance contract (which provides reimbursement of, among others, documented costs of preventive post-exposure treatment) for the period of the Internship,
  2. b) concluding an agreement with the University for participation in the internship (contract available at the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze, room 408)

Failure to submit the documents within the specified deadline is equal to resignation from participation in internship and results in removal from the ranking list.

The minimum number of people necessary to start the internship is 2. If the minimum number of places is not filled after the second stage and lack of candidates from the reserve list, the internship will be transferred to the next edition.

IMPORTANT! BEFORE THE INTERNSHIP STARTS

The conditions for starting the postgraduate internship are:

– payment of the full fee for participation in the internship within 14 days after signing the contract, but no later than before the start of the postgraduate internship,

-submitting to the Dean’s Office a medical certificate issued by a doctor authorized to carry out a preventive examination confirming that there are no health contraindications to undergoing the training.

W SPRAWIE PRZEPROWADZANIA STAŻU (SZKOLENIA PRAKTYCZNEGO) DLA ABSOLWENTÓW KIERUNKU LEKARSKO-DENTYSTYCZNEGO PROWADZONEGO W JĘZYKU ANGIELSKIM, O KTÓRYM MOWA W ART. 15P. UST. 1 PKT 2 USTAWY O ZAWODACH LEKARZA I LEKARZA DENTYSTY ORAZ NIEKTÓRYCH INNYCH USTAW (T.J. DZ. U. 2024 R. POZ. 1287 z późn. zm.)

Drodzy absolwenci,

Dziekan Wydziału Nauk Medycznych w Zabrzu uprzejmie informuje, że kolejna rekrutacja na staż zostanie przeprowadzona wg. harmonogramu:

IX edycja stażu (9 luty 2026 r. – 13 sierpień 2026 r.)

Proces rekrutacyjny składa się z dwóch etapów.

I ETAP

Zgłoszenia należy wysyłać drogą elektroniczną poprzez formularz dostępny pod adresem https://sf.sum.edu.pl/application-for-an-internship-dentistry-wniosek-o-odbycie-stazu-lekarsko-dentystyczny

w dniach 1 grudzień 2025 r. – 12 grudzień 2025 r.

Limit uczestników IX edycji stażu – 4, o przyjęciu decyduje średnia arytmetyczna ocen z przebiegu studiów liczona do dwóch cyfr po przecinku, a w przypadku uzyskania identycznej średniej przez dwóch lub więcej kandydatów data ukończenia studiów – z pierwszeństwem osób, które ukończyły studia wcześniej.

Wyniki rekrutacji zostaną przekazane drogą elektroniczną na wskazany
w formularzu zgłoszeniowym adres e-mail.

II ETAP

Osoby zakwalifikowane w etapie I od dnia 7 stycznia 2026 do dnia 17 stycznia 2026 muszą złożyć w Dziekanacie Wydziału Nauk Medycznych w Zabrzu (pl. Traugutta 2, 41-800 Zabrze) komplet dokumentów:

  1. a) potwierdzenie zawarcia umowy ubezpieczenia OC oraz od następstw nieszczęśliwych wypadków (w ramach którego przysługuje zwrot m. in. udokumentowanych kosztów profilaktycznego leczenia poekspozycyjnego) na okres odbywania Stażu,
  2. b) zawarcia umowy z Uczelnią na udział w Stażu (umowa dostępna w Dziekanacie Wydziału Nauk Medycznych w Zabrzu, pokój 408)

Niedostarczenie dokumentów w wyznaczonym terminie jest równoznaczne z rezygnacją z udziału
w stażu i powoduje skreślenie z listy rankingowej.

Minimalna liczba osób niezbędna do uruchomienia stażu wynosi 2. W przypadku braku wypełnienia minimalnej liczby miejsc po II etapie i wyczerpaniu listy rezerwowej, staż zostanie przeniesiony na kolejną edycję.

WAŻNE! PRZED ROZPOCZĘCIEM STAŻU

Warunkiem rozpoczęcia stażu jest:

– uiszczenie pełnej opłaty za udział w stażu w terminie 14 dni po podpisaniu umowy, nie później jednak niż przed dniem rozpoczęcia realizacji stażu,

–  dostarczenie do Dziekanatu zaświadczenia lekarskiego wystawionego przez lekarza uprawnionego do przeprowadzenia badania profilaktycznego o braku przeciwskazań zdrowotnych do odbycia szkolenia.
